So I should post this so its clear that my goal is not to post full tunes every day. I'm working continually on about four songs right now. I'm hoping by the end of the weekend you'll see a couple of close to completed tunes, but I'll give you a couple of quick synopsi of the tunes I'm working on:
The tune below (growing old) is mostly completed, probably adding another verse or two. I'm pretty pleased with this results, this is really about how close relationships change over time. Although I have no fear he'll likely read this, this is about my relationship with my brother who are very close in our own way, but really just don't talk very often anymore.
I have a new high energy tune that I'm currently working on that I'm loving. Musically, its fantastic and pretty close to being complete. I have no idea what its going to be about. But it will be a quick and fun harmony driven piece. I'll put up a guitar clip sometime soon.
Jake and I are pretty excited about two tunes we're cowriting - one is a great seafaring tune, the other is a tune we're exceptionally excited about as we've both wanted to write a carnival piece.
Additionally, I'm working on a very different and new piece for us - I'll let you know as it moves forward.
